Mountain Prenj

Prenj is the most beautiful, the most attractive but also the harshest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prenj is a high mountain massif adorned with many peaks, the highest of which is Zelena Glava, which is 2103 meters high. It is located in the heart of the Dinaric mountains, in the northern part of Herzegovina. In its northeast, north, west and southwest, it is surrounded in a wide arc by the river Neretva, from the town of Glavatičevo (in the northeast) all the way to Bijelo polje near Mostar (in the southeast), and on the southeast side it is bounded by the mountain massifs of Velež (1969 m), Crvnja (1921 m) and Visočice (1964 m).
