About the Neretva and the Raft Boys Team

The Neretva River, 225 km long, represents the symbol of Herzegovina and the "lifeblood" of this region. Recognizable by its emerald green color, it was nicknamed the "Flowing Goddess". In addition to its magnificent appearance, it earned that nickname because for centuries it has enabled life along its course.

Rafting on the Neretva takes place through the Neretva River canyon, on the section from Glavatičevo to the village of Džajić, where it flows through its most beautiful kilometers. Rafting as a recreational sport, ideal for active holidays, arrived on the Neretva at the end of the last century.
